“Where History Comes Alive”

A big thank you to the Chebeague community for visiting the Museum, shopping at the Museum shop, asking historical questions, and supporting the Historical Society with your time, talents, and contributions. Your support keeps the lights on at the CIHS!

Volunteers Needed

Do you love old photos, home movies, and island history? We have a great volunteer opportunity! The CIHS has a backlog of photos whose subjects (people, places, buildings) need to be identified and scanned, and videos and interviews that need to be digitized. We have the equipment, but we really need the help. Email [email protected] if you can help. We are happy to train you!

Volunteers Loved!
